Anyone traveling in between Salem and Portland must visit the Falls in Silverton. According to our waitress at the big ass burger place it is the seventh best waterfall in America! When asked who decided this she shrugged and said, "America?"
Regardless of her unreliable sources the waterfalls are incredible! The North Falls was beautiful and made a sweet rainbow at the bottom. But the South waterfall was quite possibly the most amazing waterfall i've ever scene. You know what... I'm just going to sack up and say it. It was THE MOST BEAUTIFUL waterfall I've ever seen. Weh Weh and I parked our car and rode our bikes down to the path to find it. There was a path that went underneath the water fall and we both took solo walks under water fall; both emerging soaked!
I am truly taken a back by the Oregon trees and wilderness. There is just so much green as all the trees are densely covered in moss. Most of the rosk is Basalt which leads to so many little waterfalls and such. It is a very magical place that is quickly moving my heart.
After the falls Beached Wehlitz and I went into town and had Thai food. At the table we were approached by a small girl who's parents own the resturuant. Asking about my bag she asked, "Is that a purse?"
To which I replied, "no it's a bag. If I had it on my shoulde like this it would be a purse. But like this it's a bag."
To which she replied, "AHHHHHH." She liked to scream.
Later...
"Do you like my stickers?"
"Yes can I have one?"
"But their girls stickers!"
"I like girls stickers."
"AHHHHHH!"
She gave us a whole sheet which her mom later tried to steal back. But with stickers in hand we set off for Portland Oregon!
